In 1873, the first vineyard was planted in a valley bed in the region of Barrancas, Mendoza. In 1910, a certain Flichman family reopened the vineyard under Finca Flichman’s name. The reins of the estate were handed over to an Argentine company in 1983. But the major switch of ownership happened in 1998 when the vineyard was bought by Sogrape, the reputed Portuguese winegrowing conglomerate.

Innovative policies were at once put into practice to solidify Flichman's headship in the manufacture of best quality wines boasting a distinct Argentine spirit, designed for worldwide consumption. To attain this objective, the winery was stretched by planting new vines and modern technology was implemented.

The grapes originate in Barrancas and Tupungato and are then grown naturally in the estate. They are handpicked and crushed delicately for fermentation in stainless steel containers. French and American oak is used for the storage barrels. The wine is bottled for about four months before it is made available in the wine market.

This deep colored wine is delectably assorted. The taste only gets better with barbecue, sausage and various Mexican, Italian, Indian as well as Cujan peppery dishes. It provides you versatility in wine tasting like no other.
